Łukasz Surowiec
Łukasz Surowiec (born 1985) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków on the Sculpture Department and at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. Honored with the scholarship of Polish Minister of Culture and National Inheritance. In his artistic practice he deals with different medias, putting together diverse techniques and inspirations.
He is interested both in conceptual reality’s research and almost scholar observation of human condition. In Surowiec’s works an individual plays the main rule – he concentrates on its mechanism, diversity of meaning and mystery. He mostly works with sculpture, video and performance.
