Magdalena Starska
Magdalena Starska (born 1980) deals with drawing, installation and performance. Figures, taken from the dreams and mares, fill Starska’s drawing diary, bring to mind the mythological representations and create the artist mythology.
Starska intentionally strikes herself as a medium between private and individual subjects and these which are social and common. Therefore she could be consider as a kind of shaman- she creates various types of rituals: from these ordinary and everyday to these urban, modern and inspiriting.
